Apparently last year’s solar eclipse in Scorpio ramped up the power and volume of my energy enabling me to sweep away the debris and decaying aspects of my life. Although, in my usual procrastination mode I’ve still got to get around to that sweeping.
Instead, I’m in holiday mode, reading trashy magazines and wondering if your life really is “written in the stars”. With no budget for a personal astrology session I have taken to cherry picking the best bits from the magazine astrologers predictions for Scorpio in 2013.
So this is what’s in store for me (and the other millions of people born between October 23 and November 21)?
“You can expect all kinds of windfalls this year. Inheritances, superannuation, insurance payouts and the like could ease your debt burden”. – Take 5 (Ok so this means someone dies – something to look forward to).
“A domestic project is finally completed in July or September” – That’s Life (Dear God in Heaven please let this mean we finish the house!)
“You could turn your back on your vocation over the next few years and select a role that gives you far greater freedom and independence” (Yep the end of my contract in November could see me with a lot of freedom and independently joining the Centrelink queue),
“A stuck cycle that blocked your potential ends in January and, by June, you have been thrown several financial opportunities and lifestyle solutions” (this is what I’ve been telling you, I’m actually brilliant it’s just my CIRCUMSTANCES stop people from recognising it),
“You will have some wonderful peak experiences as a traveller, writer, teacher, publisher or student in the second half of 2013 and first half of 2014” – Australian Women’s Weekly (We’ll take that as the blog starts to go gang busters)!
Do you read your stars? Ever come true?

I am pretty sure I had the exact same stars last year for Pisces.
It didn’t end well.

What? You’re telling me it’s not uniquely written for me!

It seems quite logical to me that we might be at the mercy of the planets to some extent (given the existence of tides, seasons etc)although that doesn’t mean I believe in the dodgy predictions at the back of the local paper. I’m a fan of Jessica Adams, though, and I do find that some of her trend predictions have worked out for this particular Piscean. I just won’t read the others in case they all say the same thing! 😉 I hope your new year brings plenty of wonderful experiences – whether the mags say so or not.

I just had a look at Jessica’s site, I love her predictions for the year for the world in general. She also mentions writing and travel for me so we’ll take that and run with it.
Rachel @ The Kids Are All Right says
“A stuck cycle that blocked your potential ends in January” – why did this make me think you might get a bout of gastro?
Janine says
God you are hilarious and sadly not to far from an accurate interpretation, I really can’t eat that much rubbish again.

I like the Australian Women’s Weekly prediction. Also like how it leaves it open to a various number of different professions 🙂
I read my stars in Who Weekly this morning and it actually this year is a great year for me to start a blog. Well…der! 2 years too late on that prediction 🙂 x
