Weekly Photo Challenge – Solitary

September 26, 2012 By Janine 11 Comments

This weeks photo challenge is solitary. I’m not sure I get the appeal of fishing. Although my husband tells me it’s the solitary aspect of it that is the most attractive. The man lives in a household of women so I suppose we have to allow him one hobby which involves nobody yacking at him!

Different angle and effects than a earlier photo of same area. The misty quality of this photo suggests the timeless fascinstion with the sea, fishing, aggressive stance evokes the man vs. nature theme. Nice

I’ve never understood the lure of fishing either(sorry, I couldn’t resist that one) but I know people who live for it! Really nice photo.

Great photo. I do enjoy the solitary aspect of fishing, so can understand the alternative view!

My late brother-in-law also loved the quiet solitude of fishing. His brothers and children lack his patience! This is a stunning image!

This is a gorgeous capture!!! I have only fished a couple of times in my life. It is wonderful to be on or at the waters edge whether you catch anything or not.
