While I was hold up in a country hall listening to writers debate, discuss and dissect life as we know it, my family went sightseeing.
They headed off to Dorrigo. The Hippie Child, with her newly acquired “L” plates took the wheel. The Princess Child sat in the back writing her last will and testament … not that she didn’t trust her sister’s driving but it’s always good to be prepared.
They took the Rainforest Skywalk. Apparently it was spectacular.
There was only one mysterious insect bite and a kicker headache but in our scheme of “things that go wrong” that was an incredibly successful expedition.

Beautiful photos.
I am not brave enough to get in the car when my girl with the L plates drives 🙂 x
You will note I was not on the sightseeing trip. I gave BIRTH, it’s up to their father to teach them to DRIVE.
Nice job on the photos! They were lovely. I’m glad I stumbled by through the bloghop.
Thanks for visiting Carmen.
Wow that’s a beautiful place! I always see photos of desert and places like Ayers Rock when I see Australia. It’s good to see the more diverse climates.
We have some lovely rainforest areas as well as all the desert.
I adore the last photo of the dog watching over everyone. So loyal!
It’s a great shot. Thank you for stopping by.
Stopping by from the #atozchallenge !

Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos.
Thank you for visiting.
Such a beautiful part of the world. It’s not far from where I grew up and I remember my parents taking us on day trips – I am sure I was typically ungrateful at the time. Gorgeous photos.
