Over at Ali Edwards blog she is completing her annual Week in the Life project. It’s a chance to document in detail one week of your life via photos, blog or scrapbook.
Her chosen week this week coincides with my being on holidays so I’m going to give it a go. Although it won’t be a typical week. But that’s probably a good thing because a typical week would simply be photos of me going to work, coming home, collapsing on the lounge. It’s groundhog day in real life. Over and over and over again.
Anyway, let’s take advantage of my work free week and give this thing a crack.
It’s Easter Monday and we are spending a quiet day at home indulging in a sugar coma.
The Chef whipped up some leftovers from yesterday’s lunch.
The girls attempted to do school and uni work, although I wouldn’t say it was an lengthy attempt!

The day ended with a trip to the cinema to watch the first episode of this season’s Dr Who on the big screen. Are you into Dr Who? It often confuses me. Although I did enjoy the David Tennant spin as the great Doctor. Simon had long been a fan of the series but when it re-emerged in 2005 he managed to get me and the girls into it. Admittedly, I was just watching Tennant. I’m not sure if it was such great parenting. I remember Princess Child having nightmares about the Empty Child two-part episode where a child in a gas mask kept wondering around war torn London crying for their Mummy. As I write she is currently watching Scream 2 so perhaps we set her on a horror path from the age of five!
So there ends the last day of the Easter long weekend. What did you get up to?
