It’s Logies night. This post is for all the women who can no longer do necklines cut to the navel, or thigh high splits or skirts skimming private vestiges. The desire might be there but frankly the body is working against us … the boobs make it to the navel, the stomach could hit the thighs and it’s best not to talk about what is happening in the private vestiges.

But these women at the Logies tonight are over 40 and rocking it in style, glamour and class. They give us hope that with a designer gown, a great hairstylist, a make-up artist and some glittering loaner jewels we could all still scrub up OK.

 

 

 

 

 

I wanted to include others, Chrissie Swan, Jennifer Byrne and Marta Dussledorp to name a few, but it seems most of the red carpet shots focus on on the young!

Special shout out to the wonderful Noni Hazelhurst who was inducted into the Hall of Fame (only the second woman, after Ruth Cracknell, to get in there).
