I’m reading The Most of Nora Ephron and for this post I am blatently stealing her idea of writing a list of what I’d miss if I was to die (read Nora’s lists here). Now I’m not planning on checking out soon, I’m not even sick, despite my repeated visits to the doctor with what I consider to be life threatening ailments (it’s stress Janine, your life is very stressful right now).
What I Will Miss
My children.
Fresh flowers.
Laughter.
Sunshine.
The sound of rain on the roof.
Books.
Coffee with friends.
Lunches overlooking the river.
Bubble baths.
Ideas.
Family get-togethers.
Glossy magazines.
Blogging.
Anything cooked by somebody else.
What I Won’t
Pap smears.
Mosquitos.
Flies.
Queues.
Products that don’t live up to their advertising hype.
Conflict.
Making decisions.
Budgeting.
Guilt.
The Kardashians.
Ill-fitting bras.
Sadness.
The “what’s for dinner?” question.
