One Down One Up – 19/9/14

Our daytrip to Whitehaven Beach.

It’s becoming a habit to be late with these, but I have a good excuse I was on HOLIDAYS.

ONE DOWN

I bought a new swimsuit. It was horrific. I went up a size, and it’s still a close call on whether it isn’t too small. I thought grief-stricken people were supposed to LOSE WEIGHT not PUT IT ON!

I would show you a photo but the picture is on Princess Child’s camera and we can’t find the cord to download the photos, they might forever remain tiny pixels on a little screen.

We got home last night and the zipper on my old-as-the-hills suitcase has broken and I can’t open it! There’s a rashie going mouldy in there, my medication and almost every outfit I own because I have a tendency to overpack. So, I’m off to my casual job today, fat, naked and unmedicated – should be a good day.

ONE UP

I went on HOLIDAYS. The girls and I took off to the Whitsundays and had a few days at Daydream Island.  We took a day trip to Whitehaven Beach and it was spectacular. All the details in a post tomorrow suffice to say, I blissed out at the beauty spa, ate the world’s best Frangelico Brulee, enjoyed the sun, and even took a dip in both the ocean and the pool. Go me.

Being late, especially while on holiday, is absolutely fine – I’m sorry I’m so late on commenting, I really need to turn it on so that I get a notification when somebody posts in the link-up. So many things to comment on – first of all, I love that little heart icon that appears on your website tab when I’m on your page. Second of all, totally had to look up what a rashie was. Third, there’s a place called Daydream Island? That sounds magical. Thanks for playing!
