A calming shot for all the parents everywhere who have children completing assessment tasks for Year 11 and 12.
Especially all the parents in Port currently dealing with the 30 drawings plus large self-portrait task our Year 11 art class is doing. Give us strength and wish us luck for 8.45am tomorrow when this stuff has to be handed in.
Now excuse me apparently the fire is going out, she needs a cup of tea and I have to find the Tim Tams stat. It’s going to be a long night.

Good luck with it all! We too are immersed in the exam/assessment stress.
But isn’t it funny/interesting/awful the way our kids ‘inflict’ their assignments on us (I don’t recall ever doing this to my mother!)
I KNOW. My mother had no idea what my assignments were. Even when I try to stay removed I seemed to end up roped in at some point. We are certainly the generation of over-involved parents.
