I’ve been going through the old photos a lot this week.
I’m finding it very therapeutic to see the happiness, the fun times, the laughter and the love captured in one single click of the camera button.
When I used to teach photo scrapbooking it always amazed me the incredible stories I would hear when people started talking about the snapshots in their hands. Everyone has a story to tell and the selfies, photo bombs, formal shots, party snaps, and family pics illustrate those stories.
This weekend take the time to capture some memories with your camera (and make sure to include that person who never wants their photo taken).
You are so right. Life is so unpredictable, fun moments appear from nowhere and if they can be captured with a photo, the memories of that happiness stay alive forever for the people who were there.
Yep.
This is why I scrapbook. And blog. Totally.
Yep.
oh janine, these are just beautiful. what happy times and joy you had together. i can see that it gives you peace, but also brings your terrible loss home to you. I’m so sorry. AND I’m glad you had the time you did with him. What a wonderful father and husband he was!
Thank you Noreen.
Those pictures are incredible. I just recently started taking pictures with my parents, and I’m definitely going to try to do more of it.
