How is your weekend panning out? Ours involved the usual soccer games on Friday night and Saturday morning followed by a two-day Harry Potter marathon. Princess Child decided it was IMPERATIVE that she watch EVERY Harry Potter film again THIS WEEKEND. I think we have three more to go. I still love Hermoine, seriously those boys would have been USELESS without her.
I manage to wrestle control of the remote this evening to watch the delightful Aussie drama The Time of Our Lives. Choc-a-bloc with Australia’s best actors this family-centric drama deftly captures all the tears and laughter of modern life.
Reading wise I reviewed The Creative Seed – How To enrich Your Life Through Creativity by Lilian Wissink over at the Creative Women’s Circle.
In my temporary retirement I’ve enjoyed a number of excellent articles on line – I’ve been sharing them on Facebook and retweeting on Twitter so feel free to follow along there to keep up to date on the eclectic mix of things which interest me.
Top of the list was Anne-Marie Slaughter’s call for a men’s movement. However, I also enjoyed Marcia Cross’ encounter with REALLY being a desperate housewife.
While those of you interested in journalism might enjoy the ABC boss, Mark Scott speaking on The ABC in the Media Ecosystem.
So that’s another week crossed off – what have you been reading and watching?
