It has been very nice to have four days off from the real world.
We had Good Friday Lunch at Flynn’s Beach.
Chandler is still a sad dog, missing Abbey.
On Easter Sunday we ditched our traditional baked dinner to head to a newly opened Chinese restaurant in town. When we lived in Brisbane we loved Yum Cha and we have missed it a lot since moving to Port. We were excited to discover the new restaurant was doing Yum Cha for lunch.
There was Chinese Tea.
The company of family.
And we ate well.
How was your Easter?
Funny. We did Chinese as well. Mom is 89 and doesn’t eat much of anything, but she packs away the egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and General Tso’s chicken! Bless her heart. New tradition 🙂
Go Grandma! Nothing like mixing it up for a change hey – so different to what we usually do.
What a lovely time…love your instagram photos.
We went to my sister’s where my daughter discovered the sister she had never had in her cousin-in-law. All the kids slept in a pile like puppies and the adults had a chance to be ourselves. Happy Easter.
Sounds like fun.
Yum cha in Port….we’re excited!
Were those soup dumplings??
There’s BBQ Pork Buns and Steamed Prawn Dumplings in the photos – along with the sticky rice that’s still wrapped up.
