This photo is of the local skate park. The Island Trader in the background is the cargo ship which transports supplies to Lord Howe Island.

Hi,
Port Macquarie is certainly a beautiful spot. 🙂
It is indeed.
Is it the camera or are the colors that vivid. So pretty!
@Gemma, just a sunny Port Mac day, this pic is untouched, what you see is what was in front of me….
@Gemma, funny 2 weeks ago that blue water was a murky brown color from all the flood waters exiting the Hastings River…..amazing how mum nature cleans herself up….amazing for now, i think she is well over due for a hand, even if its just picking up McDonald wrappers & cups in the beach car parks
One of our favourite places to stay on our way through to Sydney. But our overnight usually turns into quite a few days. Love this place.
Next time you are stopping by we’ll have to do lunch and compare blogging notes.
Sounds like a plan. I didn’t realise you actually live there 🙂
Port Macquarie is a great spot on the NSW coast. We stayed for a few nights back in September and have visited on a few occasions prior to that. I also chat to the local ABC station every Wednesday morning (apologies to the locals). Thanks for the lovely photo.
And a very good segment you do each week too.
great pic! thanks for sharing : ) more info on port macquarie and surrounding area can be found on portmacquarieinfo.com.au – happy travels!
that photo looks like a computer image of something that will be built in the future, with little fake people placed where real people will go when the skate park is built. amazing! so it’s real and happened? really interesting picture!
Yes it’s the real deal – thank you for jumping through the commenting hoops for those with gravatars/non wp blogs, you are a trooper!
