Remember recently when I shared with you the photos from my husband’s trip back to the one-horse town of his birth? I promised you, if you were good, I would find you Stomp The Tumbarumba the town’s one claim to fame. Well unfortunately for you I believe you have been good so I’m going to share. I challenge you to get the song out of your head once you have heard it.
Note from Mr Shambles – the town has many claims to fame – the green machine footy side, the launch of the Maloo ute and countless unforgettable B&S balls.

Yep, having the same memory – also posted on Facebook Daydream Believer in memory of Davy Jones – I seem to recall that one on high rotation at the George Adam’s Bar.

Too funny! Herbie (my parrot) danced and bobbed his head the whole time the music was playing. Normally, he prefers heavy metal!

My husband and Herbie would be great friends.

Well, I’ve never had the pleasure of hearing this song before…. but as you said, now it’s going to be stuck in my head until further notice…

I grew up in a little town no one ever heard of. We didn’t even have a stop light. I wouldn’t have traded it for anything in the world. I like you kicky little song. Stomp the tumba rumba… Sounds like something out of the 50’s. I can see those wide skirts twirling on girls sporting saddle oxfords.
