It’s a long weekend here in Australia. So it’s been a lazy time. Perfect for some catch-up TV, movies and reading.
Watching
I’ve been enjoying Doctor Doctor it was shot in my old hometown of Mudgee and gosh it’s looking pretty.
In keeping with the doctor theme I’m following along with the final Dr Blake, Craig McLachlan’s best work in my opinion.
Loved the two-year-old who stole Prince Harry’s popcorn.
Reading
An interesting piece by Alison Tait, writer and podcaster, talking about starting a podcast.
4 Steps To Building Your Following with Youtube Star Zoe Sugg is a preview of an article that will be in The Collective tomorrow. Princess Child showed me some of Zoe’s work it was interesting to see how Youtube has a created a whole new industry and successful vloggers along with it.
Say Their Name a lovely piece by Michelle Steinke-Baumgard of One Fit Widow talking about the importance of allowing our memories of the people we have lost to be spoken about and enjoyed, even though they are no longer with us.
Listening
To The Script because apparently it is a “must see” concert for my daughters, who needed my credit card to battle through the technology warfare of securing tickets. They are apparently going to pay me back.
I’m also listening to Glorious by Macklemore because I think it’s the best video clip ever, I so want to be as good as his Grandmother when I’m 100! But who am I kidding, I’m not as good as her now, coming up to 50 and the aches and pains are starting!
What are you watching/reading/listening too right now?
