My favourite place in my unit is to sit in my mum’s old recliner near the balcony doors. It gets full sun in the morning and is light all day, and I can see the tops of trees – although also all the rooves of neighbouring units, but I try and ignore them. City living, sigh. Sometimes though we get birds on the balcony. There’s a big flock of sulphur crested cockatoos in the inner west and one will occasionally drop by to uproot my plants. Thanks for a timely reminder of peace & nature.
