I got a pedometer for Mother’s Day (don’t worry, I requested it), and thought I’d try to attempt 10,000 steps a day. That is actually quite hard to reach when you are working at a computer most days. But if you set a target of 6,000 steps a day for example, it is quite motivating and is spread out across the day. Good luck Janine!

I’ve signed up for SparkPeople, just a couple of weeks ago. So far I’ve lost 6lbs with a target of 1lb a week. It’s free, lots of resources, and it seems to be working. Email if youwant more details.
