My dining table is covered with the unfolded washing that has been brought in off the line. And yep, we’re eating in front of the tv too.

Right now, my space is a dining table, covered with a dirty tablecloth and a pile of papers and books. We eat dinner on our laps in front of the TV. Breaking all sorts of “happy healthy family” rules 🙂

You are right it is nice to have somewhere to escape from the busyness of our lives.

I think that the modern world is such a busy place that now and then you need a space to be calm and alone to regather thoughts and ideas.

Pretty though!
And what’s this about not getting employed after 45!?!?! I better be a good girl at work, I haven’t been out of work since my early 30’s and that was to have a baby! This reaching middle age thing is nothing like the brochures.
