ditto your list, including the stationery, but without the crockery. books are also educational! and they build your vocabulary, background knowledge, and reading comprehension. all good things. magazines do the same, but you have to be picky. joy to you, janine. i hope you get to enjoy some favorite things today!

Books would be at the top of my list, too. Earlier this year, my husband, daughter and I house-sat for people who turned out to own a publishing company. Books. Everywhere. I didn’t want to leave!
