Maybe you can try arguing that point? Also, I like your point of heating a smaller room – definitely logical.

But my husband has also taken to retiring with the iPad – and I can see its appeal! But he’s watching Breaking Bad, which isn’t really conducive to sleep or romance, so it’s not worked in my favour. What has worked in my favour is the TV in the kitchen – which he requested, saying he would want to do more washing up.

We have 4 TV’s in our house (one in our room, one in the eldest child’s room, and one in each of our family rooms) so we are probably not an ordinary family, but put me down as a YES. Curling up in bed with the electric blanket during winter is definately the way to go… Just watch your power bills fall!!! Good luck.. 🙂

OK, so my husband has decided you are the most intelligent reader I have, congratulations. My husband isn’t that into sport – although it would have been tough during the Olympics when he sat up most of the night watching the events for two weeks.

We have a TV in our bedroom, but at night he usually falls asleep in front of the TV in the family room because I won’t let him keep the other one on after 10:30.
Even so, I’ll vote on your side because there are advantages. When he’s watching sports in the bedroom, he can holler at the TV all he wants and I don’t have to listen to it.

To those who say a tv in the bedroom kills the sex life…sometimes the good scenes make you just want to turn the tv off and way you go.Other times you dont need to turn it on al all 🙂
