That phrase brings back a few unhappy memories. I love the photo of the empty shells, can just imagine how tasty that was. Why have I never cooked mussels since I was a wee girl camping with the family in Scotland and boiling them on the camp fire freshly ripped from the rocks???

The photos are gorgeous 🙂 and that view is dreamy 🙂 I thought it was only my family that instigated the comment “This is why we can’t take you anywhere”. My Princess is reading Morris Gleitzman too, so I am forewarned now. Although, to be honest, our dinner conversations are always ermm…interesting. That’s children for you! We have top take a bank loan to feed this family, even Sizzler costs us an arm and a leg. I commend you for your bravery, it’s good for our children to experience lots of things even if it is at the cost of our sanity(and $$$) but, isn’t that an every day occurrence raising kids?
